Editor's Review
The Goodwill Store and Donation Center in Honolulu, HI, stands out with a commendable overall rating of 3.9 out of 5, based on 35 reviews. Cleanliness and a curated selection are frequently praised. As Sarah M. noted, "The tidiest thrift store I’ve ever seen!" The store's staff is also highlighted for their friendliness and efficiency, which adds to the positive shopping experience.
However, there are notable complaints regarding pricing. Reviewers like Alyssa Kauanoe pointed out that while the store offers recognizable brands, prices often feel inflated: "I do usually find something I like here, but find myself grumbling that it’s a bit overpriced for it being a used item." This sentiment is echoed by others who feel that some items are priced higher than their new counterparts at places like Ross. As David Perreira lamented, "The prices for used shirts are more expensive than new ones from Ross Kahala Mall." Furthermore, parking issues have been a recurring concern, as noted by Sandra Davidson-Brownell, who remarked on the lack of clear signage and the inconvenience of paid parking.

Loved the store and selection. The problem was parking. No signs where to park. I parked in the parking garage in the basement of the store. It is a paid parking garage and GW doesn’t validate. The clerk said free parking was a couple blocks away.
