Editor's Review

Open Door Thrift Store has carved a niche in the local community since 1992, and it's easy to see why. Boasting a solid overall rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 72 reviews, customers appreciate the family-owned vibe and the friendly staff. "Amazing selection and the staff are so nice," says Joseph Commisso, reflecting a common sentiment among shoppers.

Visit on a Tuesday, and you'll find new inventory waiting for you. Tom LaPrise points out, "Items come and go quickly, so every week is a new surprise." This dynamic environment keeps things fresh and exciting. However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows.

Some shoppers, like Hollie and Rob Frost, have voiced concerns about pricing inconsistencies, especially with electronics. They feel that prices can sometimes be influenced by arbitrary comparisons to eBay listings. That can be frustrating if you’re scoping out a deal.

Despite this, what stands out is the community spirit and treasure-hunting vibe you get inside. Kendra Grice-Brunson mentions finding a coffee table for just $20, which she refinished herself. Overall, Open Door Thrift Store offers a blend of charm, reasonable prices on many items, and a warm atmosphere that keeps locals coming back.

Best for: Bargain hunters and treasure seekers looking for unique finds.

Love this place. The people are kind and there are real treasures in there. I purchased a coffee table for 20.00 and refinished it. I love my table and Open Door Resale! I got this rug there also!

The price I paid for my items was very fair, clothes are priced on the higher side. I dont appreciate eBay listings printed out and taped on EVERY electronic. Especially when its not well researched and just the top highest result.
