Editor's Review

Second Chance Thrift Shop in Pinopolis, SC, has garnered a solid reputation, achieving an impressive 4.7 out of 5 stars from 60 reviews. This store stands out for its friendly atmosphere and bargain prices, which customers rave about. For instance, Olatoush Nelson gushed, 'I just love coming to this place. I always find a great deal here. Friendly staff.' It's clear that shoppers appreciate the welcoming vibe and the treasure hunt experience that comes with browsing through the shop's eclectic selection.

In addition to its warmth, the thrift shop is praised for its unbeatable pricing. Jerry Holuby pointed out the incredibly low prices, stating, 'Most Clothes are 50 cents, and there’s kids toys, pots and pans, dishes, and a little bit of everything.' Such affordability makes it a go-to destination for budget-conscious shoppers seeking quality items, from clothing to household goods. Many reviewers, like C Golliday, also suggest that frequent visits are rewarded with new finds, which keeps the inventory fresh and exciting.

However, not all reviews are glowing. Cyn H expressed disappointment over how the shop treats its community members, noting that the owner’s attitudes toward fellow shoppers detracted from her experience. While this sentiment is not widely echoed, it does highlight that not everyone feels aligned with the store's culture. Despite this, the overwhelming sentiment remains positive, with many patrons expressing their loyalty to the store and its owners, Robin and Tommy.

Best for: Budget-conscious shoppers looking for a variety of secondhand goods.
