Editor's Review

Recent reviews of the LSR Thrift Store in Afton, WY reveal a mix of experiences that paint a complex picture of this local establishment. With an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on 54 reviews, the store has its fair share of fans and critics. Many customers appreciate the friendly staff and the effort to keep the store clean and organized, as noted by Sherry Skinner, who praised the helpfulness of the employees. However, a significant number of reviews highlight a recurring complaint about pricing, with several customers expressing concerns that items are priced unreasonably high for a thrift store. As Julie Johnson mentioned, "Prices are way too high for second hand store," echoing sentiments from Kris Baker who remarked that many items are often cheaper new than at this location.

The store's inventory appears to be another point of contention. Some shoppers, like Norma Clark, have noted that despite the variety of items, the store seems to be packed with unsold goods, which can create an unappealing shopping environment. While some patrons celebrate their finds, including bicycles and furniture, the critique of prices has become a defining chatter among frequent visitors. This juxtaposition of positive interactions with staff and unfavorable pricing experiences illustrates the store's challenge in balancing customer satisfaction with business sustainability.

Best for: Budget-conscious shoppers who value friendly service but may need to be cautious about pricing.

Prices are way too high for second hand items. The store is getting pack with items because things don't sell as fast as they use to with the price increase. Some items are more expensive than new. Store has a funny odor to it.
