Editor's Review
World's Attic Thrift Shop in Sarasota, FL, earns its 4.4-star rating for good reasons. Customers rave about the inviting atmosphere, cleanliness, and wide selection. As Julie B. put it, "World's Attic Thrift Shop is my favorite thrift store in Sarasota for finding treasures such as china and glassware at a reasonable price." Itβs a go-to spot for those looking for unique items that also support local non-profits.
However, not everything is perfect. Some shoppers feel prices are inconsistent. Nikki N. pointed out that a used item was priced the same as new: "If you want to pay retail for used items, then this is your place." This sentiment is echoed by others who found prices a bit steep for thrift store standards.
The inventory is often described as well-organized, with tools and books neatly labeled. Shaunny highlighted this, saying, "Even books are well organized, topically!" The store features a variety of items from clothing to furniture, ensuring that there's usually something on sale. Despite the positives, complaints about the pricing structure and strict tagging rules can be a turn-off for bargain hunters.

Will not be back. Prices are outrageous. 20.00 for a barbie doll, 10.00 for some wooden toy, And their rule of "No prive tag = no sale" is dumb. Refusing to sell to me because you forgot to put a price tag is ridculous.
World's Attic Thrift Shop, 700 N. Beneva, is my favorite thrift store in Sarasota for finding treasures such as china and glassware at a reasonable price. I heartily recommend it.
