Editor's Review
Goodwill's Retail Store and Donation Center in Mesa, AZ, is a treasure trove waiting for those with a keen eye. Shoppers rave about its eclectic mix of items, often finding unexpected gems like vintage Pyrex or unique Italian serving platters, as noted by Yol A Es, who exclaimed, "Once in while I find something a vintage Pyrex with the vine sleeve...both great for Thanksgiving." This sense of discovery is one of the store's standout features, making each visit feel like a mini-adventure.
However, not all experiences are glowing. A common theme in reviews points to inconsistent pricing. Many customers feel that certain items, particularly clothing, are overpriced given their condition. As one reviewer put it, “Maybe it’s me but 25.99 for used jeans with sign of heavy wearing stains is crazy,” reflecting sentiments echoed by others. Another point of contention is the customer service, which leaves much to be desired, with some customers mentioning long waits for donations and a lack of organization in the clothing sections.
Despite these issues, the store maintains a solid community presence, offering job training events that help locals gain valuable skills. So, while the shopping experience may come with its quirks, the heart behind Goodwill shines through, making it a worthwhile stop for bargain hunters and community supporters alike.

I ripped my jeans at work. So, I ran to the closet GW. Maybe it me but 25.99 for used jeans with sign of heavy wearing stains is crazy. Cashier was nice and the store was clean. Just the prices were 👎
Store was pretty clean. I waited 5 minutes to donate a bunch of stuff. No one came out. So I just took the bins that were outside and did it all myself. Bad service. Inside it seems Arizona Goodwill, unlike those in other states on the west coast...
They really need to clean up their customer service skills towards customers when items they are selling are slightly broken and they are selling g them at high prices; Instead of saying “well you can put it in the return basket” maybe offer a disco...
Prices are really hit or miss here. Some things are WAY overpriced when they have stains and holes. But the main reason I give this spot 3 stars is because of the older white-haired man cashier at the front. I live close by and so I am here relativel...
