Editor's Review
Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center in Chino, CA, presents a mixed bag of experiences, as reflected in the 210 reviews yielding an overall rating of 4.0/5. Many customers appreciate the cleanliness and organization of the store. As Michael Mattheson praised, "The store is very neat and organized. The workers are really nice and you can ask them for help if you need." This aligns with the family-owned ethos since 1992, which seems to resonate with a loyal customer base.
However, not all feedback is positive. Some reviewers express dissatisfaction with pricing, claiming that items feel overpriced for second-hand goods. D F lamented, "Rude staff and way overpriced items; some original tags were less than their own tags." This theme recurs in several reviews, where customers suggest that the store often asks for "brand new prices for used items." This disconnect between pricing and customer expectations may drive away potential bargain hunters.
Despite the complaints, Goodwill's special offers, such as $50 off for first-time customers on orders of $150 or more, seem to attract new shoppers. Additionally, the promise of new inventory every Tuesday keeps some patrons coming back. Astrid Torres noted, "I try and go at least once a week... they have pretty good prices!" Overall, while the store offers some solid thrift shopping opportunities, it faces challenges in meeting varied customer expectations regarding value.

I came in here today surprisingly there was little Mexican girl that kept following me around the store that work there. She needs to learn, proper adequacy. Learn to give people there private space! Really annoying
Rude staff and way overpriced items some original tags were less than their own tags . Won't ever come back
They pretty much want brand new prices for used items. Free items to them. I can't believe how expensive Goodwill is it's ridiculous I won't go there anymore I go to the smaller thrift stores much better prices and much better selection of merchandis...
Love it here. I try and go at least once a week the staff is friendly, only issue is the closed changing rooms I hope they open them soon. They have so many clothes the racks are overflowed, and they have pretty good prices!
