Visiting the Goodwill Store & Donation Center in Golden, CO, feels like stepping into a space where both the thrill of thrift shopping and local community support collide. With an overall rating of 3.7 out of 5 from 374 reviews, the store offers a blend of positivity and criticism that reflects its unique character. Many shoppers appreciate the excitement of discovering new items every week, as one customer highlighted the store's rotating inventory: 'Love this store! The new manager Lora is amazing!' This sentiment echoes throughout the reviews, where the emphasis on community support and the regular infusion of new products stand out.
However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. A few reviews pointed out some significant drawbacks, like the cleanliness of the store. As Serena Frostlight pointedly expressed, 'Just found a USED Taco Bell cup priced for $1.99. They're getting too desperate for money these days…' Such comments reveal a disconnect that the management will need to address to enhance the shopping experience. Additionally, a recurring theme involves the store's staff, which varies considerably. While some employees, like Chris McCoy, receive praise for their helpfulness, others, like the employee named Rhonda, have been described as unwelcoming, leading to mixed experiences for customers.

This store has trucks backing up to the loading dock about 500 times a day so if you are on the backside of the building , you get to hear reverse beeping sounds for nearly 14 hours a day. It's absolutely fantastic.
