Editor's Review
Goodwill Thrift Store & Donation Center in Marietta has garnered attention for its appealing mix of merchandise and community support. With a solid rating of 3.9 out of 5, many customers appreciate the clean, spacious environment and the constant influx of new items, refreshed approximately every 21 days. As Nicole Christie mentioned, 'I always find things that I didn't know I needed... The staff is always friendly and helpful.' This highlights a common thread throughout reviews: the sense of discovery alongside community engagement.
However, not all experiences shine quite as brightly. Some visitors reported issues with service, such as Shannon Oshier, who expressed frustration over the lack of assistance at the registers, saying, '1 cashier checking out women with 50+ items asked politely if help could assist. No one appeared.' This sentiment echoes a recurring complaint regarding customer service, which seems to fluctuate based on staffing and the time of day. Furthermore, while many items are in good condition, others might need a closer inspection, as Joseph Sheffield pointed out flaws in some clothing, mentioning, 'Clothes I did like ended up having holes in them.'
Overall, Goodwill Thrift Store offers both a treasure hunt vibe for bargain hunters and the satisfaction of supporting local community programs. With a bit of patience, shoppers can find some hidden gems amidst the occasional hiccups in service.
