Editor's Review
Shopping at the Goodwill Store in Idaho Falls, ID, feels like a treasure hunt. Many customers have praised it as the go-to spot for unique, budget-friendly items. As Emily Nelson put it, 'I always find good stuff here and appreciate the kind employees, Leah is PURE GOLD.' It's easy to lose track of time browsing through the aisles, with a delightful variety of secondhand fashions, furniture, and home goods just waiting for a new home.
However, the experience isn't without its bumps. Some reviews linger on complaints about high prices for secondhand items. For instance, Maya Brayton voiced her frustration, stating, 'Goodwill is a greedy corporation and this store is no different. The prices are outrageous for secondhand goods.' This sentiment echoes through several reviews, where shoppers feel that the prices are not always justified when compared to other local thrift shops or even new retail items.
Another recurring issue is the store's return policy and lack of fitting rooms, which can lead to buyer's remorse. One shopper lamented, 'Before processing, make sure they’re in great condition since there’s no returns,' pointing to the difficulty of making informed choices without trying items on first. Still, other customers appreciate the convenient drive-up area for donations, making it easier to contribute to the store's mission of supporting job training programs.

Goodwill is a greedy corporation and this store is no different. The prices are outrageous for secondhand goods, it is always dirty and disorganized. $25 for a coat, $12 for a cracked lamp, $10 for shoes caked in mud. There's no fitting rooms, their ...
Prices are absurdly high. Just because the used shoes say Nike doesn’t mean they’re worth $40. Go to Ross and pay an extra $5-10 for BRAND NEW shoes… I’ve seen clothing new with tags where your price is higher than the retail store’s price. STOP IT...
