Editor's Review
Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest in Coeur d'Alene, ID, has carved out a niche as a popular stop for thrift shoppers and those looking for a bargain. With an overall rating of 3.9 out of 5 based on 280 reviews, it seems to be a go-to for many locals. Customers often rave about the friendly staff and the well-organized layout of the store. As Hayley Gingery noted, she found her 'dream bucket list purse & wallet' at an unbeatable price, and appreciated the way items were sorted by color. Such experiences highlight the store's strengths.
However, not all reviews are glowing. Some customers express frustration with the pricing and return policy. For instance, Frank&Beans pointed out that the CEO’s high salary of $1.2 million raises questions about the store's commitment to goodwill. Additionally, Sofie Vigil lamented, 'Overpriced junk mostly!' suggesting that the thrill of thrifting is dampened by high prices and a lack of truly unique items. This mix of praise and critique paints a picture of a store that, while charming in many ways, has its share of challenges.

super nice and friendly staff!! I found my dream bucket list purse & wallet here yesterday for so cheap and I’m over the moon!! loved how all the dishware and trinkets were sorted by color too :) organized, clean, easy to find things
Came to drop off and literally chased out of the drop off area. Nobody was outside and I simply wanted in to ask about the process. If its so dangerous to em through that door, put a sigh on it that warns customers to not dare enter.
Staff have all been very nice and helpful. It’s clean and I love their clothes!
Overpriced junk mostly! Anything of value here is going to cost you a pretty penny. And if you return something they will only give you store credit that EXPIRES. how greedy and disgusting. You take the fun out of thrifting. Might as well just go to ...
CEO makes 1.2 million a year. That doesn’t sound like goodwill to me. They get stuff free, then sell it at inflated prices. They aren’t giving any good will whatsoever. I won’t shop there.
