Editor's Review
Frustrated bargain hunters, listen up. The Goodwill Store on Overland Road in Boise, ID, is a mixed bag. While some shoppers revel in the thrill of finding unique secondhand fashions and budget-friendly home goods, others leave feeling disappointed and frustrated. The store is conveniently located, making it an ideal stop for those hunting for a deal, but it’s clear from reviews that not every visit is a pleasant one.
Multiple customers have voiced concerns about the messy and cluttered environment. As Danielle McWhorter put it, "You would sell more clothes if you brought back dressing rooms." With no dressing rooms available, trying on clothes is out of the question, which is a significant drawback for many shoppers. Other reviews point out safety issues: Abby Sweet complained about overcrowded shelves, stating, "You have to move breakables around constantly to see what is under them," which isn't just inconvenient but potentially hazardous.
On the flip side, some customers have praised the helpful staff. Claudia Gutierrez noted, "The staff is very helpful and patient throughout their busy days," indicating that some employees try their best to maintain a positive shopping experience. However, not all interactions are pleasant; one reviewer felt the customer service was terrible, mentioning, "I would give 0 stars..." Overall, it seems this Goodwill has potential but needs some serious attention to organization and customer service.

I can't believe I would ever say this but I'm from Portland and this is the worst Goodwill I've ever been to. Shelves are completely overstocked to the point you have to move breakables around constantly to see what is under them which is a safety ha...
Out of all the employees I ran into, only 2 were friendly. It was a mess. You would sell more clothes if you brought back dressing rooms. Dumbest thing ever. Covids over, only excuse you have is enabling already lazy employees.
Of I could. I would give 0 stars. Terrible customer service. And they say they don’t follow the color tag discounts that. All other location’s across the USA does. Not to mention that the prices are not very thrifty.
Super fun and the staff is very helpful and patient throughout their busy days 😀
From Seattle area... worst Goodwill I've visited which is saying ALOT. No dressing rooms AT ALL??? Also they "just stopped" doing color of the week... Imagine that. They sell nothing so the shelves are piled with overpriced junk.
