Editor's Review

Ohio Thrift Store in Delaware, OH, offers a mixed bag of shopping experiences. While some shoppers appreciate the variety of items, many leave feeling underwhelmed. As Brian Dible remarked, 'While you consider it a thrift store, a lot of items are new, and prices don't reflect those of second-hand items.' This highlights a common complaint: the store's prices often feel inflated for items that aren't truly thrifted.

Another consistent issue is the quality of second-hand items. Megan C. bluntly noted, 'Pretty much all of the second-hand clothes were either torn, stained, or had some mysterious crusty stuff on them.' Such remarks make it clear that not all items are up to standard. On the flip side, some visitors like Lindsie Doss found a few gems but overall preferred other thrift options. The store's inconsistency seems to be its biggest flaw.

Despite these setbacks, there are positives. The interior of the store is clean and well-organized, and some customers appreciate the mix of new and used items. But be cautious with food items; as Dan Wolf warned, 'A lot of the candy and food items are outdated way past the sell-by date.' Overall, Ohio Thrift Store might work for those hunting for new items at discounted prices, but seasoned thrift shoppers might want to explore other locations first.

Best for: Best for shoppers looking for new items at discounted prices, but not ideal for traditional thrift shoppers.

The clothing selection at goodwill is far superior. We did come across a few good finds. I will be checking out other locations in the future but I don't see myself returning to this location.

More of an overstock store than a thrift. New items with tags from Target and JC Penny etc. Some secondhand items mixed in. Prices were really high. I usually think Goodwill is overpriced but this was even worse. I may be back but probably not often....
